In 2006, the Lord had awakened my spirit. As I woke one morning, a thought came to mind, which was to go on a walk and talk to God. One of the desires I had was to get the supervisor position that was being spoken about by my manager. He wanted to grow our department employing more staff and therefore needing more supervision. I knew God would help me. As I prayed to Him, in a conversation, I knew He heard me. I experienced an open heaven. Although there were people out in the neighborhood, I was so focused on my conversation with God that nothing distracted me. As I spoke with Him, I was being revived and refreshed and excitement was filling my spirit. Although I prayed to God since childhood, this time was different. I knew that He heard my every word.

Although the talk about growing our department and needing supervisors did not come to pass, something amazing happened to me on October 13, 2008, I bent down to lift a pile of clothes to put into the washing machine. All of a sudden, I heard the sovereign voice of God say, "Stop analyzing life and start living." God’s voice was peaceful, loving, kind, sweet and comforting, yet powerful and magnificent.

It is a voice like no other. All of a sudden, my entire body was flooded with peace. Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." I knew something amazing just happened. It was a feeling I never felt in my life; it was utterly wonderful.

While telling my husband about what happened, he stated, "You were touched by the Holy Spirit", then reminds me when he was touched ten years earlier. On this day my spirit came alive. Blinders were removed and now I could see, hear, feel and be directed by the Holy Spirit of Almighty God.

From that day on, my thoughts are being transformed to align with God’s thoughts. It is not what you own or prestige that matters it is what you do with the precious gift of life that you were given by God. How many lives do you touch every day in a positive way?

After purchasing a Bible, I was invited to a women’s gathering. The speakers revealed how God healed them from cancer and they did not experience negative side effects from liquid chemo. They provided information about their church; a bible based non-denominational, teaching church.

I started attending their church and many classes offered to learn more about Our Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit and to share this information with the world because I too was unfamiliar with power of the Lord. God created everyone to have a life of significance. This was all in God’s plan for me to meet these ladies and to attend their church. God has a plan for everyone which was predestined for we were born. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God provides where He guides.

Throughout my walk with God, I found that prayer moves the hand of God and if you want to see changes in your life, pray. You must pray from the heart with pure motives and you will see how God works on your behalf. John 14:14 (New American Standard) "If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." Pray in the Name of Jesus believing you will receive what you ask and it will be given to you. Most people are not aware that God hears your every word. James 1:6(American King James) "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." Even though you do not see God with your natural eyes, it does not mean He is not present.

God is omnipotence (all powerful), omniscience (all knowing), and omnipresence (always present). He knows all. He is everywhere. He is all powerful. He knows what you are going to ask before you ask for it. I was out of work for 3 years, but God was my provider, my transformer, the Potter who was molding and shaping me more into His image which was priceless. God then opened the door for me to work in a place where things are constantly moving and changing bringing me to be a person who goes with the flow. It is truly incredible.

Things that I feared were no longer an obstacle. Things I would have never done I am doing. It is only through the power of God that this is possible. He gives strength, courage, knowledge and discipline to those who want it. He is no respecter of persons; He has no favorites. Romans 2:11 "For God does not show favoritism." God is refining and molding me into the person He created me to be. At times it is painful, but like exercise, you are stronger afterwards. God knows better than we do what is best for us, after all He is our loving Divine Father.

In the time off, although looking for a job and networking with people, God gave me the opportunity to spend quality time with my mom and Dad. My Dad was diagnosed with colon cancer. I was able to pray with my Dad and tell my parents and the doctors more about God. It was truly priceless. My dad got promoted to heaven in May 2011. God has opened so many doors for me that no man can open. I am so amazed by God every day. He is continuously giving me the desires of my heart. He is so beautiful to behold.

Let God change your life for the better. Invite Him into your heart and let Him transform you. It is worth it. It is not what you Do, it is Who you know. Want the Lord Jesus Christ to change your life? Pray this prayer from your heart; "Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I repent of my sins. Come into my heart; wash me clean, I make you my Lord and Savior Amen."

Prayer for you - Father, I pray in the name of Jesus, that every eye that views this website is blessed and touched by Your Holy Spirit. That they feel the manifestations of Your Holy Spirit upon them. That they decide to have a relationship with You, Lord because nothing else can satisfy them. Prestige, money, relationship or material things cannot take the place of a relationship with You. Because they do not see with their natural eyes, they do not understand. But Lord, I ask that they desire to have Jesus come into their heart, then they too will see and feel things they never have known existed. It will allow them to truly know and understand You, Lord. It will give meaning to their lives and they will be stronger, wiser, and more joyful than ever before. I ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.
